How do I find a car park with spaces near me right now?
Open the live map and tap the "find nearest" (📍) button. Your browser asks permission to use your location, then the list sorts the closest car parks first with live vacancy, updated every minute. You can also search by district or building, or filter to car parks that have spaces.
How often is the vacancy data updated?
Live car-park vacancy and street-parking occupancy are refreshed roughly once a minute from official open-data feeds. Treat the numbers as a very recent snapshot rather than a reservation — a car park can fill quickly at peak times.
Paying for parking
How does metered street parking work in Hong Kong?
On-street meters are run by the Transport Department; most accept the Octopus card and many support mobile-app payment. Charges and maximum stay vary by area and time, and metered parking is generally free on Sundays and public holidays — but always check the sign.
What are parking privileges, and how do I get free parking?
Many malls offer free or discounted parking when you spend a minimum amount electronically at their shops, restaurants or cinema. Where we have the details, each car park lists the spending tiers and free hours. Use the "privileges only" filter to show car parks that offer them.

Can I find EV charging spaces?
Yes. Turn on the EV filter to show only car parks with chargers. Where live data is published, we also show how many chargers are currently available.
